Did you know that the turtle will lay their eggs on the same beach everytime they nest, usually returning at high tide during the night for the laborius task of digging a nest and laying up to 200 eggs. Turtles have lived in the oceans of the world for over 100 million years and in the last 100 years some turtles have become extinct while other species are seriously threatened. The main threats are pollution and changes to important turtle habitats.
