Kittens Jigsaw Puzzle

Did you know that there are usually between 3 to 6 kittens in each litter that the mother cat produces and that they will be totally dependent on the mother for up to 12 weeks. Most people give kittens away to new homes as soon as they are eating solids yet studies have shown that kittens need their mother for up to 12 weeks so that behavioral problems don't exist later on as they mature.

Kittens open their eyes at around a week after they are born but cannot see that well until about 3 months old. They learn how to hunt during play with their brothers and sisters and sometimes the mother cat will show them hunting techniques also. They mature quickly and will be expert and deadly hunters by 6 months.
