Kangaroo with Joey Jigsaw Puzzle

The photo for this kangaroo jigsaw puzzle was taken at Cape Hillsborough National Park, Queensland, Australia. Cape Hillsborough is on the coast of the Coral Sea, sheltered by the Great Barrier Reef.

This kangaroos is actually a wallaby and as you can see has a beautiful baby, which are called joey's, in it's pouch.

Being in a popular National Park, the wallabies have become very tame and will come up to people and take food from their hands. This is discouraged by the National Park Rangers as they are wild animals and should fend for themselves.

One of the most glorious sights at Cape Hillsborough is to see the kangaroos wander onto the beach near sunset. The beach is a tropical delight, with clean sand fringed by tall coconut palms.
