The Tarot's Misfortune Game Review
As the game title suggests, The Tarot's Misfortune is an interactive hidden object game that uses evil magicians and fortune tellers as characters, with tarot cards as the subject matter to find throughout the game. If you are one who doesn't like games with mystic or occult ties, then perhaps The Tarot's Misfortune is not a game for you. For everyone one else who considers this just as part of a story, you will probably find The Tarot's Misfortune a very interesting and fun game to play and enjoy.
In the game you take on the role of a fortune teller by the name of Rosalie. A stranger has come to town and somehow put you to sleep and locked you into a prison. Your tarot cards have been stolen and scattered throughout the town. Break free from your prison cell and find your tarot cards so you can investigate the mystery and save the residents of Luzio from this evil drifter.
The Tarot's Misfortune is a really interesting IHOG, with many interactive elements within the hidden object scenes. Not too difficult, yet hard enough to keep the player hooked, most players should be able to work out the puzzles without the help of a walkthrough. You do get unlimited hints, so with a bit of logic and the in game help, all should be solved with just the right amount of player interaction on your part.
Graphics are nice and bright with objects to be found not too easy to see so that that the game becomes boring. Some hidden objects are a tad small, yet the game developers have allowed no penalty for random clicking thereby diffusing any animosity for searches that take too long. Let's face it, you really don't want a game too easy anyway, so some objects should be hidden cleverly to keep you on your toes.
I have no issues with mystic type stories. Some do, so be aware of the game title and steer clear if fortune tellers or tarot cards make you uneasy. The story revolves tightly around the tarot cards and your ability to find and spot the differences of the stolen and altered cards. The Tarot's Misfortune has 10 chapters with around 40 levels and should keep the best players occupied for around 3 to 5 hours solving puzzles and exploring each area.
The Tarot's Misfortune is a very clever and well developed game and get's a big thumbs up for enjoyment value. Do download the free trial and try this first, as the theme can offend some people, while others may find it a little difficult. We highly recommend The Tarot's Misfortune as an excellent interactive hidden object game, with many hours of enjoyment within a solid story.
