Trapped The Abduction Game Review
While being a little scary for some, Trapped The Abduction takes
you on a hidden object hunt to escape the clutches of a deranged
serial killer. Reminds me of the Saw movies without the absolute
gruesome blood and guts, but while the story of being abducted
by a mad man could disturb some, as a game, Trapped The Abduction
proves to be a fairly enjoyable hunt to successfully escape your
captor.
For
those who played Escape
the Car, which had you searching for items then using logic
to work out what to do with them once found, Trapped The Abduction
takes this style to a much more polished level, cleverly winding
a good plot around the story line, then complimenting the whole
package with good graphics and not too difficult puzzles.
You play as Helene, a young girl who wakes to find herself trapped
in the trunk of a car. Using her quick wits and solid logical
thinking, Helene doesn't panic, but settles down to work her way
through the problem. Unfortunately her captor is watching her
every move and is toying with her, laying traps and trying to
thwart her escape. Can you assist Helene and help her escape the
clutches of this inhuman being.
Trapped The Abduction actually becomes quite a fun game to play,
with the biggest downside being the continual laughing of the
kidnapper grating a few nerves here and there. Graphics are excellent,
with some scenes at times on the dark side, yet you are trying
to escape a mad man so really can't expect a bright and colorful
game. In fact the game starts very dark and you find your way
around the scene by first finding a lighter. The theme is somber
and the puzzles in the main match the experience as you collect
objects and use them to progress into the game.
Trapped The Abduction certainly comes out at the right time of
the year for all those who enjoy the spooky side of Halloween.
But don't be too put off by the story, remember it's just a game
and enjoy the logic involved while you search for cleverly hidden
objects, crack codes, solve puzzles, and avoid the traps laid
out by a psychotic serial killer. Try the free download before
you buy, which is always the best option anyway. It is pretty
good and enjoyable as a pure hidden object game. Hopefully the
next in the series will be even better.
