Time Riddles The Mansion is one of those games that we strongly suggest trying the free download right from the first step. As a classic hidden object game, there is not a lot wrong with the game itself, plus it does have good replay value due to the hidden item list changing each time you play a scene, but it may prove to be a slight bit too classic HOG for those that have become accustomed to games with more interaction.

The story takes you on a hidden item hunt back in time, as you play in board game style and scour an old stately mansion, finding gems and solving puzzles to discover the mansion's history and the secrets that are held behind the large oak doors.

Time Riddles The Mansion encompasses 15 chapters, with around 80 or more scenes and match 3 puzzles games to wade through, so game length is very good. Within the hidden object scenes, there are around 12 items to find, plus you also must locate 6 gems, sometimes interacting with the scene so that something moves so you can see the gem. For example, in the very first hidden item scene you need to click on a radio button a few times so a bird gets startled, flies out the window and reveals a gem. You also have a riddle to solve at the end of each scene, so as you can see, there is plenty do do within the game, which will keep you interested for hours.

Along the way, Time Riddles The Mansion, awards you with various trophies for achieving certain goals. You earn a trophy for finding all the items without using a hint, or a "By List" prize for finding all the items in the order they appear in the list. There are 4 different trophies to earn in each scene, By List, No Miss-clicks, Jewels, and Riddle, which are nice and add a little challenge to each scene.

Time Riddles The Mansion, as we stated in the opening paragraph, isn't a bad game. Perhaps it's major flaw is just that it really doesn't offer anything unique in a game genre filled with games just as well made as this offering. Time Riddles The Mansion has all the hallmarks of a game that you can play for hours in a nice relaxed way, just slightly missing that "wow" factor. Give Time Riddles The Mansion at least the free trial. The graphics are good, music unobtrusive and game play interesting.
