Save Our Spirit is a difficult hidden object game that takes you on an adventure, set back in time at the turn of last century. Scenes are very well done with objects period dated, but they are difficult to find with some being quite tiny and others so well camouflaged within the scene they are nigh on impossible to spot. Luckily there is no timer and the game has a good hint system.

As a hidden object game, Save Our Spirit is rather good, with an immersive story that grabs the players full attention and leads you right into the story, like a good novel should. The story itself is a mixture of romance and mystery with a bit of mystical flavor added to spice things up. Lord Longstep's dear wife Mary is somewhat of a mystic with special powers. With their honeymoon just over, Mary has been kidnapped by a secret society who want to exploit those mystical powers Mary possesses for evil doings. You must travel the globe and help Lord Longstep find Mary and reunited the lovers.

Filled with the usual cluttered hidden object scenes and added mini games, not the only drawback to Save Our Spirit is the difficulty level. Although we do get a bit fussy at times, as the game that was released prior to Save Our Spirit, Age of Oracles Tara's Journey, was deemed too easy. There have also been a lot of reported crashes that occur around the gears part of the game, although we didn't experience any download problems or crashes. The length of the game isn't long, about a 3 hour game, which should suit beginners to the hidden object genre.

We strongly suggest trying the free download of Save Our Spirit to ascertain if your pc is suitable. From the many gripes over at Bigfish forums, there are many who won't recommend this game. We here liked the game and found the story fitted with the scenes. There were some annoyances in translation of objects but this can be overlooked. Just make sure you try before you buy.

Save Our Spirit Game Hints, Tips, Cheats

Hovering the mouse cursor over a word in the item list, will show you the shape of the object in the bottom left corner in the screen.
Click on the hint button in the bottom right corner of the screen to highlight a random hidden object.
The hint meter will take a minute to recharge after using a hint.
If you want to reveal a specific object, first click on the word, then click the hint button.
Incorrect random clicking will cause a warning message you will have to wait for a few seconds before returning to the game.
Almost all of the hidden object and spot the difference scenes are random.
There is a complete walkthrough available but as items are randomly generated, the walkthrough is simply a guide only.
