Pathfinders Lost At Sea is a visually delightful hidden object game that uses the junk yard style of HOG, combining heaps of puzzles with a little interaction over 13 chapters of varying lengths. Most chapters contain 3 to 4 scenes and puzzles, with some containing more, the 11th Coin for example has 9 scenes and 3 puzzles.

The game isn't too difficult, so the very best hidden object players might take around 2 to 3 hours to complete Pathfinders Lost At Sea, while newbies or those that are particular and take their time should enjoy many hours of hidden object hunting fun.

Pathfinders Lost At Sea follows a strong story line, where you are lured to the the middle of the Atlantic Ocean by a very mysterious and beckoning radio signal. There you meet and team up with, Professor John Darby, and then explore an island that is not on any maritime charts and seems to have magically appeared from nowhere.

The nice thing about Pathfinders Lost At Sea is that the following treasure hunt, and all the puzzles that you play within the game, kind of follows and backs up the story line. While the scenes are junk yard type, they do have some interaction to the items, like finding keys and using the keys to open drawers, or using cork screws to open a bottle of wine. All is fairly straight forward, as are the puzzles, yet it all fits together nicely and makes a very enjoyable game.

Pathfinders Lost At Sea is not right up there with the big titles like Ravenhearst, yet it has it's own appeal, great graphics and about the right length to give the game good value for money.
