Mystery Stories Island of Hope Review

Apart from a fairly shaky story line and grainy graphics, Mystery Stories Island of Hope meets most other criteria that makes for a good fun, challenging hidden object adventure set in the tropical paradise of the Caribbean Islands. I say a fairly shaky story line because it doesn't flow too well during the game and becomes irrelevant as you forget the story and concentrate on the game itself.

With just the right amount of seek and find play, plus some fabulous mini games, Mystery Stories Island of Hope introduces something new, for me anyway, in that at times you look for objects after hearing a certain sound. Match the sound to the object, now that's different.

They have the hints right also. There is always some things that are harder to find than others in every hidden object game and if you do run out of time you can replay the level with the same item list.

Mystery Stories Island of Hope has 3 separate modes of play, puzzle, adventure and relax mode. The relax mode allows you heaps of time to complete each level and puzzle mode brings into play a time limit to find a given number of items.

I really enjoyed the large variety of different types of games throughout the package. From hidden object to spot the difference, the "what's this sound" teaser and riddle type puzzles where you must find an object and then use it in another object, such as film into a camera.

Apart from the story, Mystery Stories Island of Hope is a very good play and a game from which you will get many hours of enjoyment.
