Thankfully, Mystery Cookbook has bright graphics, even though the objects are still difficult to find and there is a bit of a story line to work toward as well.

Now whoever thought a cat and a mouse would work together in a kitchen to make delicious recipes, yet in Mystery Cookbook, these two friends work so well together that you will be amazed at the cuisine that is created, and you get to help first hand.

Mystery Cookbook is one of those rare games that come along and are completely enjoyable, even for the die hard gamer. Perhaps a bit easy for those souls who have played every hidden object game ever made, yet a delight for those with open minds or newbies to the game genre. It does follow the usual hidden object style and the mini games are also familiar, but it is fun to play and fresh without brining anything new.

The mini games are a good diversion from the main game which breaks the monotony and are a mix of spot the difference, match the shapes type puzzles that blend in well with the overall theme.
