Mystery Age The Imperial Staff hidden object game has just been released but it's making a huge splash in the pond over at BFG already. So we grabbed the free trial ourselves and plunged into the pool to see what all the fuss is about. We whole heartedly agree that so far it's a sure winner and plays along the lines of the popular Magic Encyclopedia.

Most HOG player enjoy finding objects that are parts of items that , when assembled, are used to find other stuff, or open areas to further explore a scene. Mystery Age The Imperial Staff has all these features and more. Couple that with fabulous graphics that for a change are not dark, objects that fit the scene, no timers and items that make you think where they would be used and this is a hidden object game the developers should be proud of.

The story even fits the game and takes you on an adventure to find pieces of the ancient Imperial Staff so that you can stop the Balck Rain that is threatening to wash away your village. You must complete puzzles and find your way through the land to save your father from an evil spirit. I love the way you can click on a character and it does something, like getting the frog to jump in the pond. Fabulous touch.

This is a must have game and anybody who doesn't at least download the free trial is going to miss out on a game that is really enjoyable. I haven't finished the complete game as yet but must be over half way. To sum up so far. Fabulous colorful graphics, good audio, rechargable hints, no penalties for random clicks, some objects difficult to find but not impossible, easy clever mini games and a story with magical, fairytale attributes.
