Mushroom Age Review

Mushroom Age is one of those games you are either going to love, or hate. Yes, there seems to be no middle ground when playing this game. It will be one or the other, and no one seems to say it is just okay.

But firstly, is it a hidden object game or a true puzzle game? Well it is a rather good mixture of both, where you search for objects that you can later use to solve puzzles, move objects around like gravestones and unlock doors to find things inside. If your a fan of the interactive type HOG games then you will probably like Mushroom Age a lot.

The game has a fairly solid story line where you enter a time tunnel and travel back to prehistoric times to search for a missing fiancee. Mushroom Age contains not so hard to find objects and puzzles near the end that will stretch ones solving abilities to the max. Good graphics throughout the game add to the visual pleasure and there is even one level where you get to clean dinosaurs teeth, wow.

On the downside, some may find the whole project too easy and there is a voice over at the start of each level that can become irritating. You can turn it off but you have to do that in each and every level.

Me, well I loved it and can't wait to continue playing Mushroom Age as soon as I have finished this review.
