Magic Encyclopedia Moon Light Game Review
Another good hidden object game hit the shelves with Magic Encyclopedia
Moon Light combining a solid story with an adventure filled, find
and seek treasure hunt. The sequel to Magic
Encyclopedia First Story, this is an overall production improvement
and certainly rates high.
Magic
Encyclopedia Moon Light is a pretty good effort at the hidden
object genre, except that some of the items you must find to piece
together objects such as clocks, combs and artifacts, can be so
small, you really need to wear magnifying glasses to actually
find them. These small pieces can, and probably will, test your
patience quite a bit, but luckily there is a good hint system,
which refills quickly.
You really have to use your head and your eyes, and while some
object are small, you should be able to quickly figure out what
to do with them once you find them. Mini puzzles are amusing and
the whole game keeps you firmly entrenched from beginning to end.
The game opens in grand fashion and introduces you to Katrina,
a young adventurous magic student who, at the request of her bother
Roger, embarks on a globe trotting quest to solve the mystery
of his missing tutor Professor Fobros. Countries that you visit
include Germany, Egypt, Asia, Tibet and Central America and your
search will be in tents, art buildings, monasteries and castles.
You will need a keen eye and use your well honed logic to find
and solve different quests, complete puzzles and cast spells that
can invoke stone effigies to life. Magic Encyclopedia Moon Light
really is a great adventure game, which is clearly the way that
the hidden object genre must move toward.
Comprising of 32 different levels, plus 18 mini games, Magic
Encyclopedia Moon Light should keep you firmly occupied for many
hours. The difficulty level is high due to the smallness of various
items to find, yet the whole game blends together so well, that
in the end the only annoyances take a back seat. Hard nosed Hog
fans will love Magic Encyclopedia Moon Light, and so will you!
