Magic Encyclopedia Game Review

Magic Encyclopedia is a fantastic hidden object game and the title, First Story, suggests that there are more in the series to come, which is great news for all HO fans as this game completely rocks.

The story takes you on a quest to help a young lady, who has just completed her degree at the Magic School, find her brother and foil dark forces of evil that are threatening the world. Traveling to locations all over the world, you must look for hidden objects in exotic ruins, temples and castles in South America, Russia and China, then use the items to complete puzzles which leads you further into this amazing game.

When Magic Encyclopedia was first released by Alawar, some reported a glitch in one of the mini games. This issue seems to have been resolved on all BigFish releases, as I encountered no such problems and recent forum posts are not bringing this up as an issue either.

You play the game in relaxed mode with no time restrictions and no penalties for too much clicking. The mini games are time limited and they are so well constructed games, they really add to the whole experience, They are not just there as lettuce on a salad type thing.

Magic Encyclopedia First Game is class act and hidden object fans will be delighted with the production, even if at just 25 levels, it may be just a tad too short.
