Here is a hidden object game that just doesn't fit right with the high quality games that we are becoming accustomed with of late. Perhaps we are being downright spoiled in our quest for the perfect game, yet Lost Realms Legacy of the Sun Princess disappoints in a few areas.

The story is quite good. Our heroine Alexia has nightly dreams of an ancient Inca civilization under attack and in trouble. Are these visions just dreams or is it Alexia's heritage driving her to investigate hidden secrets of the past? Alexia cannot resist the mysterious happenings and is drawn to Peru in search of answers. Can Alexia uncover clues to the mystery surrounding the demise of the ancient Inca civilization?

Good story and at the beginning nice graphics, yet they get a little blurry and dark in places, which really diminishes from the overall aesthetic appeal of the game. Add a few things that feel like glitches, such as if you click on the name of an object that you are searching for, a circle appears and shows the location of the object. This is great if you are having trouble finding the item, yet not so great if you are not.

Mini puzzles are nice, but a tad too easy, and you feel that they are a little useless anyhow, as they supply you with hints, which you can get anyway by clicking on a list item in the first place.

Lost Realms Legacy of the Sun Princess is perplexing to say the least, so it is good to be able to download the free game and give it a try.
