Gourmania Game Review

While Gourmania doesn't bring anything unique to the hidden object game genre, it does have that challenging cooking simulation style addition that usual seek and find games lack. Is it a time management game then? Well, almost time management or perhaps cooking tycoon, but let's just go with hidden object and not confuse the issue.

Similar to Go Go Gourmet, with great graphics and lively game play, Gourmania takes you on a journey into the kitchen world of top chefs and restaurant entrepreneurs. You start life in a sandwich bar and work your way up to top chef by purchasing restaurants and satisfying customers with your culinary skill.

Don't look for a strong story in Gourmania, because that would certainly be the weakest side to this very enjoyable game. Each game window presents ingredients scattered throughout the restaurant, with the customer orders at the top of the screen. The order lists the ingredients required and you need to fill the order before time runs out and the customer loses patience. The tycoon part of the game kicks into play here, as keeping customers satisfied will reap greater rewards, allowing you to purchase restaurants in better locations, and making more and more money. Ahhh, life is very satisfying when you have big bucks in the bank.
