Cate West The Velvet Keys Game Review

Those of us who know Cate West remember her as a successful novelist, author and brilliant psychic, who can conjure up visions after holding objects, which can then lead to solving the most heinous of crimes. We first met Cate West when she was asked to assist the police in The Vanishing Files case, which resulted in the capture of a dangerous criminal mind. Now Cate is back with another thriller and on the trail of a dangerous murderer.

Cate West The Velvet Keys takes you across the globe to find and solve a series of very bizarre deaths. Police have found bodies, and while they suspect the victims have been murdered, the bodies show no signs of anything unusual. Mysteriously though, the bodies are not following the usual signs of death and are not decomposing as they normally would. Something is just not right. We need Cate, and her ability to see visions, to help solve the mystery.

Cate West The Velvet Keys takes one more step in the hunt for hidden object excellence. This is really good and almost reaches the heights that we saw in Return to Ravenhearst Fabulous story, good interactive mini games that give a solid reason for finding different objects, good graphics and a plot worthy of an epic movie.

It may well be of benefit to play the original Cate West Vanishing Files game first, as there are many references during the game to the first episode, yet most should be able to pick up the banter and forge ahead regardless. Velvet Keys is very good and a must play game for anyone who regards themselves as a HOG fan. Witty, well produced, with good length of play (12 chapters). Cate West The Velvet Keys is great value for money.
