Angela Young 2 Escape the Dreamscape Review
Angela Young, and her cat Felix, are back in another dream related
hidden object game. This time around, instead of falling into
a whopping great hole when she fell asleep, she is trapped in
a mysterious Dreamscape and can't find her way out of a maze.
You must go into the Dreamscape and help Angela find her cat,
then show her the way out of the maze.
So there is the basis of the story for today's new hidden object
game, Angela Young 2 Escape the Dreamscape. It is somewhat like
a gentle fairytale with heavenly graphics and nice soft music.
This is not like some of the classic interactive hidden object
games we have been blessed with lately, Angela Young 2 Escape
the Dreamscape is more the old style with hidden object scenes
and some not too hard mini games thrown in to break the seek and
find monotony.
I was going to say that without a timer, this is all too easy,
but yesterday found myself bagging a game I reviewed because it
had a timer which made the game too hard. We game players are
a hard lot to please, are we not, so I have decided to give this
a chance and simply state that the biggest fault with the game
could be in it's length. A wee bit short perhaps for experienced
players. It does have relaxed and timed mode, so if you want a
challenge play with the timer on.
There are 37 levels to play plus various mini puzzle games. Hidden
objects are not too difficult to find as the graphics are not
cluttered with loads of junk as most games, plus the list of items
to find isn't large anyway. There is replay value in that there
are 15 randomly generated objects shown from a possible 16 in
most scenes, one item is left out each time you restart. Mini
games can be skipped with no penalty.
I won't say that Angela Young 2 Escape the Dreamscape is too
easy. I will say that the graphics are adorable and the story
nice, plus the easy pace of the game allows you the time to sit
back and enjoy every moment. If you play the free download then
buy the full game you do have to start over, which is downright
annoying. If you quit the game during a level, you will have to
start that level over again once you reenter.
In conclusion, Angela Young 2 Escape the Dreamscape is a nice,
relaxing game which suits those who don't like to be rushed. The
graphics are high standard, the story like an Alice in Wonderland
tale and the music soothing to hear. We rate Angela Young 2 Escape
the Dreamscape at 3 stars from 5. Play the free download by all
means, but don't buy this until you do. It may not be up to your
standard of experience.
