Amazing Adventures The Caribbean Secret Game Review
Who doesn't like a treasure hunt with a hint of piracy and mystery
combined? Not many have their hands up, so we must assume that
this latest hidden object game, Amazing Adventures The Caribbean
Secret, may appeal to many. And if you are a HOG fan of the classic
style, Amazing Adventures The Caribbean Secret will prove a popular
choice, with a nice relaxed feel, yet interesting enough to propel
you to the finale and win the secret treasure as your own.
The Caribbean Secret is the location of a sunken Spanish ship
that went down, somewhere in the Caribbean Sea, loaded with a
fortune in gold bullion and a vast treasure of jewelry and other
precious artifacts. It was no secret that the ship sunk. It is
the location that has been kept secret for centuries. There is
a legend that survivors made a map of the location, then tore
the map into pieces, handing each survivor a piece of the map
so that the treasure should be shared among all. You have a clue
to the whereabouts of a piece of this map which perhaps will lead
you to the rest. Your mission is to use your skills to find the
pieces of the map and locate the sunken treasure.
The Caribbean Secret is the third game in the Amazing
Adventures series and takes you on 25 missions, each with
several hidden object scenes and mini puzzle games. You need to
find and piece together the map that will take you to your goal.
This is a good plot made more enjoyable with great graphics and
long length. You are talking around one hundred levels, if you
count the mini games which cannot be skipped. Objects are not
too difficult to find and hints are rechargeable.
Some items your are requested to find will have a description
instead of the items name. You may be asked to find a gun with
wheels, so you know to look for a cannon. It is in the main a
classic hidden object hunt, but a few items will need your interaction,
such as opening a lock requires first finding the key, or repairing
a candelabra requires locating a candle and placing it back on
the holder.
It does get a tad repetitive playing a hidden object scene then
doing a mini puzzle, then another hidden object scene and another
mini puzzle, but Amazing Adventures The Caribbean Secret seems
to pull it all together with the solid story, which compels you
to follow it through to the end. The fact that you can't skip
mini games does detract from the game experience if you struggle
on some, but they are not that difficult that they become completely
unpassable. There is a link to a Amazing Adventures The Caribbean
Secret complete walkthrough in the hints section below. At the
end of all 25 missions there are 4 additional puzzles to complete
to finish the game.
Amazing Adventures The Caribbean Secret is recommended as a nice
relaxed treasure hunt adventure. This will certainly cater to
the classic HOG fan, more than those who have become ardent followers
of IHOGS that give more player interaction than seek and find
episodes. The free trial download is a must before going any further.
