Age Of Oracles Tara's Journey Review

Age Of Oracles Tara's Journey is one of those rare hidden object games that, although they seem easy and are filled with junk style screens, takes that extra step and becomes an enjoyable adventure into a magical realm. The graphics and story grab you right from the beginning, and just 10 minutes into the game you are totally mesmerized and totally addicted.

The story takes you into a wonderland where a talking peacock will guide you on your quest. With a rich, proper English voice of the female gender, the talking peacock asks you to find things or to use your logic to work out puzzles. There are 22 chapters to the game and each chapter has 3 stanzas, which consist of hidden object scenes, interactive puzzles and mini games of matching pairs or concentration type games.

The difficulty level is not high, yet you are drawn into the game by the colorful and high quality graphics. The voice overs are mesmerizing and everything gels together perfectly. You seem to want to keep playing just for the story. Although you have to find some cards, it's not tarot type cards or occult magic that you seek. It's more love and courage type cards, which bind you to the story line and lead you further into the overall adventure.

There are a few annoyances such as a popup constantly giving you directions and hits, but these do disappear as you get into the game. The easiness of the game is surprising, yet it does get slightly harder and harder with each chapter. Funnily enough though, you seem to forget these annoyances and are sucked into the game, not wanting it to end, yet driven onward to uncover the plot.

Age Of Oracles Tara's Journey is almost exceptional for a hidden object game. What it does is thoroughly entertain the player without frazzling their brain. It is a nice diversion from the easy and repetitive HOGS, and not as hard on the brain as titles like Return to Ravenhearst. There is good replay value, when you play as another player, all the objects are changed. There is no timer, so Age Of Oracles Tara's Journey is a nice relaxed, magical adventure story.

Age Of Oracles Tara's Journey is a sure winner and a change of pace for all. It receives thumbs up from all here, so grab the free download below and get prepared to want to take this title all the way to the end. Can't wait for the second edition of Age of Oracles. This one is very good.
