Plant Tycoon Game Hints, Tips, Cheats

• Start off by growing all the seeds you are given, then purchase the the common seed varieties. These plants will be your base to fund the more expensive plants.
• Upgrade your soil as soon as you can since the basic soil will grow only the most common plant varieties.
• The rare and exotic varieties lose health quickly when grown in common soil.
• Don't waste money on insecticides for the early plants. It's probably better to trash the common varieties than to spend more money than they are worth keeping them healthy.
• Cross-pollinating increases plant values but also makes them fragile. Be sure to upgrade your soil before risking your hybrid seeds
• Pruning will improve plant health and increase plant value. Remove dead leaves to uncover hidden flowers and improve the shape of a plant. Careful though - too much pruning can hurt a plant too.
• Pricing plants for sale is very important. If plants are selling very quickly, raise your prices. If plants aren't selling, try lowering the price.
• Upgrade Insect Nets to catch more insects throughout the game. This won't help you win, but it does help in this optional component of the game.
• Chemicals often help in creating new breeds. Avoid them until you've upgraded your soil, but the Mutation Liquid is especially helpful in creating rare plants.
