a puzzle game set in a similar era to Cradle of Rome. It didn't fool me for one minute.
If you have been playing our games you would know already that I have a mind like a barn door. Open to all things that come wafting by. Aquitana didn't fool me for one minute. I know that aqua is the first letter of the alphabet and has nothing to do with the ocean.
Challenging to say the least, Aquitania is a match 3 puzzle game with it's own unique blend of game action. You still have to match and clear tiles, it's just done with a huge difference that makes Aquitania so very interesting.
Birds drop tiles from the top of the screen and will die if you don't match them up in time. There are powerups to help and gems to collect to advance to the next level. Things can get fast and furious and you will need all your powers of concentration just to make it to the end of each taxing level, let alone to the end of the game.

- Use the the hourglass powerup to make birds sleep so they stop dropping objects
- The lightning bolt will destroy random objects.
- When the hammer power-up becomes available, use it to break any tile or chain.
- Feathers don't show up on the board until a bird dies.
- Once you have enough feathers to activate the feather power-up, it destroys all feathers on the grid.
- Try to avoid killing any birds as the feathers slow you down.
- Use the egg power up to restore the birds' lives.
