World War Tower Defence Game Review
Another
well made turret defense game, World War Tower Defence differs
slightly from the norm with randomized entry and exit openings
and creeps that become modern as the game progresses. Instead
of using monsters and such as the creep hordes, developer has
stuck with the World War theme and introduced army style enemies,
so you are more thinking of surviving a war, not just mindlessly
killing zombie like creeps.
Very well produced with excellent graphics, World War Tower Defence
has 3 difficulty levels, easy, normal and hard, which to be fair,
are true to their word. It is suggested to play the easy level
first to see what the game mechanisms are and then if you are
a seasoned tower defense campaigner, go for the hard level and
give it your best shot.
Like in every tower defense game made, upgrading towers gives
best fire power, yet sometimes just making creeps come under fire
for longer periods does have it's rewards. The main aim is to
stop the creeps from getting to the exit gate, so don't rule out
using cheaper towers to prolong the agony.
It would have been nice to see a "play again" button
placed on the game console and a pause button, but they are minor
imperfections. We have placed a refresh link as the play again
button, just below the game frame, so just hit this to avoid being
taken away to the developers site if you want to replay the game.
Overall, World War Tower Defence is a challenging game with good
turrets and excellent game play.
