The sequel to Stand O Food has made an auspicious debut, but it may have been rushed a tad without ironing out some glaring defects such as poor language translation and just passable hand drawn graphics. Yet in spite of all these annoyances, game mechanics themselves mould this time management restaurant game into an enjoyable play.

Unfortunately for the developers, most people will judge Stand O'Food 2 on the glitches, not the overall game, so take this in mind when taking a look at this yourself.

The story is that you must make a range of food dishes, such as hamburgers and other customer delights, quickly and efficiently using a food conveyor belt loaded with ingredients. You know the story well, keep the customer happy and you will be showered with rewards. Stand O'Food 2 has around 200 levels to complete, so the sheer volume alone can take considerable time to play.

After 3 or 4 levels the game hots up and becomes quite enjoyable, but those opening levels may have done the damage and put a definite damper on your enjoyability factor toward the game. They are hard to overlook and I cannot rate it above a 2 from 5.

Highly recommend that you try the free download of Stand O'Food 2 before you buy. I did enjoy the game but those translation problems and amateurish production spoils what could have been a fantastic gaming experience.
