School House Shuffle Game Review

If you ever thought running a school was easy then you are in for one heck of a bumpy ride with this time sim game called School House Shuffle. Managing a school is quite a juggling act and keeping the children and the parents happy is certainly a tough ask.

Children like to get into mischief, every one expects that, but throw in some lazy employees who sleep on the job, toilets blocking and equipment that breaks down and you have a real assignment on your hands just getting through each day successfully.

School House Shuffle follows that theme closely. You are gauged on the successful operations of an every day school simulation. Perhaps the worst part of the game is the frantic activity before classes begin and then the boredom of waiting for classes to finish once you have successfully placed everything in place.

You need to turn those little monsters into brainiacs and you are given bonuses when you attain the passing grade, which is a "C". Use the bonus money to upgrade the school and hire new staff. You certainly need to keep a good eye on slacko teachers who wander off or fall asleep and some of the kids just don't want to be in class. Oh, I won't mention those trouble makers you have to look after here, you might start shivering with fright and trepidation over the task that is set before you.

School House Shuffle is graphically excellent, but the game play itself is a little haphazard and goes from frantic activity to dull and boring sessions of inactivity. Strongly suggest that you try the free download game first and see if this is one you would enjoy. It only gets a 50/50 rating here but has heaps of potential and is quite unique.
