Lovely Kitchen Game Review
Is
it a time management game or a simulation game, well actually
Lovely Kitchen is both. When you choose casual mode, you play
in time management style like the old popular Diner
Dash games. Choose simulation mode and straight away you play
a sim style game, where you must prepare, cook and serve. In each
mode your main objective is to keep those hungry customers satisfied,
and with some very zany, yet lovable personalities to cope with,
this is not an easy task.
The difficulty level of Lovely Kitchen heats up fairly fast,
probably as fast as the kitchen, so you must be on the ball to
seat and serve your customers quickly. You do have to pass a points
goal plus customer satisfaction rating to advance through each
stage. The first being a points tally and the second a goal level
of happy customers. By the fifth or sixth levels, the going gets
tough, even for experienced players, so those who like a challenge
will feel this is the game for them.
Graphics are not brilliant and the color of the restaurant somewhat
bright, but if pink is your color it may suit your eyes. Mind
you, you do get used of the graphics after a while and the color
suits the restaurant decor. There are plenty of upgrades available
and all the different characters you serve are really cool.
Lovely Kitchen is certainly one of those games that you should
try before you buy. Personally I like the way that the difficulty
level cranks up early, which tests your time management skills,
so Lovely Kitchen isn't just a mindless click and dash game. For
some though, the difficulty aspect could be Lovely Kitchen's downfall.
The 2 game modes, casual and sim, give Lovely Kitchen good value
for money. There's a lot worse than this one out there, so give
the free download a shot and see if it would fit into your game
chest.
