Similar, yet not as polished as Forgotten Lands or Virtual Villagers, The Legend of Sanna, Rise of a Great Colony has you taking a wounded population and leading it away from war and strife, into a world full of hope and prosperity. You are chosen to build a great nation who take pride in their achievements and work harder to gain higher respect of the world's greatest leaders.

The Legend of Sanna is played against a timer and each level you must achieve various goals before the clock runs out. It will be the strength of your strategy that will see you through to grab the gold in each level, training workers, building structures and increasing the civic pride of the population.

There is a tutorial to walk your through the basics, but this can become a tad boring as it is slow paced and quite detailed. Music is annoying and graphics hard drawn and very basic.

While you train workers, gather rock and timber to build houses and other structures, grow enough food to keep a hungry populace from starving, you also must be aware that all of this needs to be kept in good repair, civic pride is an important twist to the game which, if achieved, can increase your workers productivity, therefore making your goals easier to achieve.

The Legend of Sanna just doesn't quite grab the interest and want you to keep playing. It isn't that bad of a game, but after playing similar games in the time management genre, it leaves the player a bit flat with a few glitches, spelling errors and a familiar strategy that has all been done before.
