Kitchen Brigade Game Review

Kitchen Brigade is a fast paced point and click time management game similar to other cooking simulation titles like Hells Kitchen and Top Chef, just with a slight difference and perhaps a steeper difficulty level. The aim of the game is to achieve expert level in each situation and win a TV cooking challenge. While it's all been done before, Kitchen Brigade does have a freshness which keeps you totally addicted right through each level.

You have a variety of meals to prepare and a wonderful range of colorful characters to please. Is that Marilyn Monroe waiting to be served? Who knows, perhaps Elvis might also make a guest appearance! Customers do have their different personalities and the quicker you serve, the higher the tips they give. Upgrades for the kitchen are available, which makes life so much easier, and certain goodies can be bought so that customers are happier while waiting for you to prepare their meals.

Kitchen Brigade also has mini games, which seems to be the norm for casual games of late. These consist of preparing food, like slicing meat, chopping vegetables or peeling leaves from lettuce. This involves either dragging the mouse cursor over the meat in a slicing motion, fast clicking for chopping or similar actions to get the job done. Accuracy isn't a huge consideration which makes the mini games fairly easy to achieve.

Graphics are nice and for a fast and furious, point and click game, everything runs nice and smooth. The variety of recipes and restaurants that you must cook and operate keeps you on your toes. The television competition theme also adds that bit more of a challenge to the game. Who wouldn't like to become the best chef of them all.

Overall Kitchen Brigade is a nice challenging time management game, with all the attributes that the best cooking simulation titles possess. We rate this 3.5 from 5 stars, simply because it has been done before, but for quality and game development it does get a 4 star for the complete package and enjoyment factor. Kitchen Brigade is a very entertaining game and a must have for those who like time management games which are that little harder to win. .
