Horatio's Travels Game Review

The life of a penguin is said to be one of endless wandering in search of food, but young Horatio, our hero in this fun time management game, has other ideas. Yes, he likes to travel the world, but a man's gotta work for a living too, so what better way to make a dollar than open up an ice-cream parlor in the most exotic places on earth.

Horatio's Travels will take you from frozen icebergs, to dense jungle locations and tropical isles, where you will meet and serve delicious ice cream to some of the wackiest characters who roam the seven seas. Pirates, monkeys, polar bears and penguins are your customers and you have busy lemurs and a hard working aardvark, to help you scoop the ice-cream as fast as you can to keep those customers happy. In typical time management game style customers will get angry if they are not served quickly and who wants to test the patience of a cut throat pirate. So give quick service or you might be made to walk the plank.

There are plenty of levels and Horatio's Travels isn't that hard of a challenge. Your aim is to reach expert goal on each level so use your upgrades wisely. If you muck up don't worry, you can always replay the level and reach that expert score next time. It is virtually a point and click game plus you drag the order to the customer.

Horatio's Travels isn't as frantic as yesterdays time management game, Cooking Dash Dinertown Studios, it is much more relaxed and so much easier. Graphics are very good and the music isn't grating on your ears. Perhaps Horatio's Travels would suit the younger set, but players of any age should enjoy a happy romp with a lovable penguin character.

We would strongly suggest that you download and try the free trial, as we have stated, the challenge is fairly easy. We rate Horatio's Travels quite high just because it is such a change to actually have time to enjoy a game without going cross eyed because of the difficulty level. It's good to relax and have fun once in awhile.
