Baby Blimp Game Review
As
a time management game, Baby Blimp brings some new life to this
ever popular game genre in more ways than one.
Whoever thought that babies would actually be made in a balloon
floating around in the sky? I always knew that the stork delivered
the babies, I just never realized that babies were created from
within a blimp!
Now that the record has been set straight as to where babies
come from, it's time to step up to the plate and exercise your
great time management skills and get that big baby factory running
efficiently.
The first thing you must know is that if you pull the factory
lever, a baby will be made on the production line within the blimp.
After the baby starts coming down the conveyor belt, you will
need to look after it until you assigned a stork to deliver the
baby to a waiting family. Sounds simple enough, but have you got
the skills to run the baby factory at a profit over a period of
time?
Of course there are glitches you have to handle such as looking
after the baby until delivery time and even then there are pitfalls
that you have to be aware of to ensure safe delivery. Some neighbors
don't want children living next to them and try to stone the storks
to stop them from dropping their bundles of joy next door. Oh,
wow, mom never told me that being delivered was this difficult.
Other impediments that occur are nasty weather such as storms,
lightning, rain and snow, so make sure the storks are well dressed
for the delivery before they go or you will have the baby returned.
Luckily there are upgrades for storks and equipment as you progress
through the game that will make life easier.
Unfortunately, there are a few frustrations within the game that
spoil the overall enjoyment factor, such as a lack of an adequate
tutorial, some spelling discrepancies and unclear instructions.
These lowered the rating to 3 from 5, yet it is addictive and
if you work out how to make twins and quads, your in for a very
enjoyable time playing Baby Blimp for many hours. .
