Westward IV All Aboard sim game screen image While the previous editions of Westward were great, Westward IV All Aboard really takes a step forward over Westward 3, with improved graphics and engaging game play. Westward IV All Aboard is a game that will challenge you in a entertaining way and keep you amused with hilarious dialog and many quests.

You take the role of the children of a railroad company owner. The Turner family has built a successful railroad through the Wild West, but the owner, your father, has has mysteriously disappeared. You must protect and operate the family railroad business in his absence, while tracing your father's disappearance to uncover the truth, no matter what that may be.

It seems that there is a gang that has been kidnapping town folk and asking for rather high ransom amounts, plus the usual amount of wild west bandits that rob railroads, banks and saloons. You will have various quests such as freeing the kidnapped towns folk as well as looking after the health of the towns population and expanding the Turner railroad empire to neighboring towns. Mine for gold, collect coal, lay tracks, battle with the bandits. Fabulous quests that will test your strategy skills, yet are not too difficult to be impossible to win.

The Westward series are Sandlot games, so you can be sure that the quality is first class and the challenge just about right. Westward IV All Aboard is a fairly complex strategy game that offers you many choices at every stage of gameplay, which in turn brings fabulous replay value, giving you months of serious game play. There are 75 quests and with different strategy, the outcomes will be different.

Westward 4 All Aboard is highly recommended for anyone who likes sim games, but if you have never played any of the Westward series, start out by trying the original Westward online to get the hang of things. Remember, the series has come along way since Sandlot made the original, so you are in for a real treat with Westward IV All Aboard.

Westward IV All Aboard Game Hints, Tips, Walkthrough

Characters can cross rivers without bridges if the bank is shallow.
To move characters, left click on the person then right click on the place you want them to go.
The male and female main characters are Anne and Henry. They are called heroes and get similar quests.
Your heroes cannot die, they just fall unconscious for a second when their life runs out.
All other characters within the game can die if their health runs out.
Heroes move faster than other characters, even if the characters are riding horses. If you need other characters for backup to fight bandits, pick a meeting spot just before the battle zone so others can catch up with the hero.
There are 5 Elements which are water, gold, coal, wood, and food. These elements are town resources, so anything one character earns in town goes into the communal account.
