Now some may think Flower Stand Tycoon is a bit cutesy, yet apart from lacking a real plot, the game mechanics are sound and the way that competition from other sellers is introduced and displayed is a great take on the normal tycoon game. You can see sales graphs for your own sales and the competitions so you can decide which areas of the city is best suited to your selling method.

The game is the usual take on retail sales, you choose your stock, select your location to set up shop for the day, then keep the customer satisfied and maximize your profits. As your fortune grows you can earn upgrades and give money to your uncle Potts for research into new flower types.

I am unashamedly a big fan of tycoon games so for me, Flower Stand Tycoon gets a big tick on presentation, graphics, game play and overall replayability. • To begin you have daisies, daffodils and ruby roses to sell.
• The variety of flowers will increase with further research. Other merchandise is earned as you reach certain objectives.
• You can choose to automatically restock the flower van each day or fill the cart with stock manually.
• Purchase a refrigerator as quickly as possible. Until you have a refrigerator, whatever stock you have left at the end of the day will be lost. It will not be carried over and you will need to purchase fresh stock each day.
• Each neighborhood has it's own unique customer base.
• After selling flowers in a neighborhood, demand will temporarily go down and take a few days to recover. Never go back to the same neighborhood on consecutive days.
• You can check current demand by clicking on the neighborhood before selecting it. Once you've decided on where to sell, click "set route" to confirm.
