Dairy Dash Game Review

How ya gonna keep em down on the farm after they play Dairy Dash, the latest game from PlayFirst games, who gave us that all time favorite Diner Dash.

Spread over 52 adventure filled levels, Dairy Dash is a time management, farm simulation game where you look after the cows, chickens and other farm animals and grow some crops for market. Of course the point of the game is to do this successfully and make a darn good living while your at it.

You get to manage 4 farms in all, which get bigger as you progress through the game. Luckily farms are family businesses, so you not only get to play the main role of farmer Smith, the good wife, daughter and eventually the lazy son Ethan are introduced as the game progresses, who also gets their hands dirty helping to run the farm.

There are a variety of tasks to perform such as feeding and tending the animals to planting and weeding the crops. You make money on the produce you sell, milk, eggs, tomatoes and corn. Along the way you have to battle with moody animals, crop disasters, vermin, wolves and good old crows who especially like corn.

But it's all in a days work in Dairy Dash, where country life comes to the computer and you find out how hard farm life really is.

The developers have stuck with a tried and tested game theme and have improved in every game since the original Diner Dash kicked off. This is excellently done, perhaps a little easy in the early stages, but it does build up and you need to keep a close check on proceedings to succeed.
