Dream Chronicles The Eternal Maze Game Review

For Dream Chronicles fans, (which you can play free here) The Eternal Maze is a fantastic piece of game programming and certainly one that sets the bar for others to achieve. The only downfall to the game is the length of time it will take some to finish, it is short in duration even though there are over 50 backdrops and around 80 puzzles in the game itself.

Dream Chronicles 2 The Eternal Maze has incorporated excellent graphics with a wealth of different puzzle themes, weaving them all together in a wondrous canopy of problem solving, using logic and spatial senses to move through the game. Animation's are fantastic with cascading waterfalls and panoramic scenes that almost seem real.

You need to collect items and solve problems in your fight with Lilith, Queen of Fairies, who has imprisoned the heroines husband and daughter. You must find where they are held captive so you can rescue them from the evil fairly Queen.

Dream Chronicles 2 The Eternal Maze will please the most ardent fan of puzzle games, but as stated before, the biggest downfall is the length of time it takes to complete the game for quick players. There is one feature that encourages you to replay the game and that is that there are sparkling gems strewn throughout the landscape levels that automatically populate special Dream Jewels. But you won't find them all in the first play through. Some are locked away and only become available if you replay the game.

All up this is an excellent puzzle game and certainly follows on from the original Dream Chronicles well. It does leave the door open for Dream Chronicles #3, which I for one am eagerly awaiting. Try the free trial download below, Highly recommend Dream Chronicles 2 The Eternal Maze to all.
