Diamond Drop 2 Game Review

Another of the sequels for the week yet we must say that each one has been an improvement on the original.

Diamond Drop 2 is no exception. Following on from the original Diamond Drop puzzle game, this time we see Garry the Mole as a hard working underground miner who has a fortune in gems right above his head. All he has to do is match and catch the gems as they fall, but of course things are not always as easy as they seem.

There is a story line to follow, but it really is a little of a side issue as the actual game is what we are here for. Apart from knowing what is the name of the main character, who cares what the fuss is all about. Once you start into the game, you lose yourself in the challenge and couldn't care less about the story.

Now Diamond Drop 2 is no push over even though the game is easy to grasp. A quick tutorial takes you through the basics and then it is your skill and logic that will take you to the end. Along the way you are treated to some really good graphics and unique puzzle play with well placed obstacles and great powerups to help in the journey.

You make cash by collecting gems from the roof of the mine, setting them as jewelry and selling them to eager customers. This is good and very enjoyable with just a few glitches that can be easily overlooked. Try the trial download first to make sure that Diamond Drop 2 is a game you will enjoy.
