Cryptex of Time Game Review

Match 3 games are usually fun to play yet there are many around now and are becoming fairly predictable. Cryptex of Time brings a new dimension to match 3 puzzle games in the innovative 3D style rings where you click and drag the tile into position to make the match. Kind of like playing a round rubic cube, which brings back the enjoyment in matching puzzle teasers.

Cryptex of Time has a good story line where you travel the world solving puzzles with different game modes to play and keep your interest. Some puzzles limit the amount of rotations made, prevent gems from falling down to fill in space, increase the number of matches required to clear gems, or introduce additional colors to the puzzles. As you progress through the game, more and more difficult puzzles are introduced.

The mini-games in Cryptex of Time are fun to play since they're timed and involve using your brain to figure out sequences. Cryptex of Time is a different take on the usual match 3 offering and well worth the effort of at least trying the free trial game.
