The First Olympic Tidy Up Game Review
The
First Olympic Tidy Up is a little different from what we have been
offered on the casual gaming scene of late, and provides a good
break from the usual hidden object or match 3 type games.
The time is ancient Greece and the event is the first Olympic Games
held to honor the great gods of Greece. Zeus has been really getting
into the spirit of the games and has been hurling thunderbolts left,
right and center and frankly, he has made quite a mess of the games
venue. You must please Zeus and tidy the place up by using the cards
to command actions which will renovate the stadium.
At first the title was very off putting, in that due to the Olympic
games just being completed in China, the title suggested that this
would be a sports game of sorts. Certainly wasn't prepared for a
solitaire puzzle game. The First Olympic Tidy Up is played over
50 levels and each completed level takes you a step closer to your
overall goal.
The First Olympic Tidy Up is a very good take on the spider solitaire
game. It's more of a puzzle game than a straight out card game,
plus you can make your own parameters and levels.
Those who like to follow a story while playing may feel a little
left out in the cold, as as the story line really isn't the games
strong point. Good graphics and interesting competitive play make
the package good value overall.
Try The First Olympic Tidy Up free download before you decide to
buy to make sure you feel the same as I do. I enjoyed the game thus
far, but have only played the free trial as yet, as it has just
been released. Time will tell if this is a favorite but I do believe
there are many worse games than this around.
