Peggle Nights Game Review
Peggle
Nights is the second coming of the original popular Peggle
game from Popcap Games. While there are some new features added
and it's a fabulous game, you honestly can't really say that it
is much different from the original.
Those who have never played the original are in for a
real treat with Peggle Nights, as even though we here are familiar
with the first offering, we were delighted to play this old favorite
in a new skin once again. Don't get us wrong here, there are new
areas in Peggle Nights that are different than the original game,
but it is the familiarity that slightly dulls the experience.
Peggle Nights is played with a ball that you aim and fire
from the top, to knock out all the orange pegs on the board. There
is real strategy involved as there are of course obstacles in
the way, such as blue pegs, and you only have a limited supply
of balls to fire. If the ball falls into a basket at the bottom,
you get a bonus ball and possible bonus points. This is pretty
simple to play and apart from the aiming, fairly repetitive, yet
it becomes totally addictive the more you get involved. Yes, Peggle
Nights is a simple yet addictive game and that adds up to something
fairly special. For all those fans of pin ball, you can win a
power up that gives you those familiar "flippers".
Peggle Nights is a must for all serious casual gamers.
Don't hesitate to give this one a go and the Peggle Nights free
download is a good start to see what all the fuss is about. You
will find that the one hour is just not enough and will crave
for more, especially if you are a clean skin to the peggle game.
It's colorful, it's got 2 playing modes, adventure mode with five
levels for each of the 12 characters and a Challenge mode with
60 unique levels to play, plus a Quick Play game and a Duel mode
where you can challenge a friend on the same computer. Peggle
Nights is very good!
