Beetle Bug 3 Game Review

Beetle Bug 3 is seriously good fun to play yet challenging enough to sometimes make it frustrating. The story line follows the adventures, or perhaps we should say struggles, of a wacky Irish Beetle Bug who has over 1 thousand children. Yep we said he was wacky all right.

All of Beetle Bug's children have been kidnapped, maybe bugknapped would be a better word, and who else but Beetle Bug would try his best to free them.

Not everything in life is easy when you have a thousand kids so your in for a real adventure figuring out the best way to save the kids and keep the nagging wife happy. And an adventure it surely is. Through tunnels, mazes and underground caverns you must find the children and lead them safely to exit points. In your way are enemies, obstacles of all types and other paraphernalia designed to make your journey difficult.

It may sound serious but the developers, Intenium, have included some very amusing anecdotes, voice overs and light hearted comments to round off the adventure into a fun filled extravaganza. Fantastic graphics and a difficulty which builds and builds all makes for one fantastic game which you must play.

The biggest gripe, in fact the only gripe, is that if you lose all your children on any level, you have to start over from the beginning, something which I personally detest. Apart from that, Beetle Bug 3 is a serious contender for my game of the year award so far. Play it now!
