Many people are finding that after installing the
IE 7.0 browser the text rendered on the screen is absolutley terrible,
fuzzy, blurry and hardly readable. This is due to Microsoft assuming
that all people now have LCD screens and have enabled a ClearType
feature by default. This quick tutorial will show you how to uncheck
the ClearType command and restore your text to normal.
By default, Microsoft has chosen to enable ClearType function in the new Internet Explorer 7.0 browser. This is fine if you have an LCD monitor as it improves the look of fonts and images, but if you are like many people still with CRT monitors it will render your text fuzzy and blurry. Never fear there is a simple fix and this tutorial will show you how to fix the problem and talk you through the process. You can use the video tutorial at the bottom of the page or the step by step text instructions, either way your text will be looking fine and back to normal in no time at all.
There you have it, your text should look normal again, not blurry or fuzzy any longer. Check out the simple video tutorial below capturing the mouse pointer strokes necessary to complete the task.
